Julie Baz, Group People Engagement and Compliance Officer

Julie Baz has over 25 years’ experience providing executive level management and support within corporate, research and education, government and not-for-profit environments. She plays an integral role in developing and implementing organisational strategic objectives.

Prior to joining Corporate Carbon, she worked at the University of Sydney for 13 years in a range of professional roles, including eight years supporting and then managing the ACRF Image X Institute, a world leading centre for innovation in radiation therapy and cancer imaging technologies. She established the business and administrative functions making a highly valued and unique contribution which remains vital to the institute’s ongoing success.

She previously worked for Macquarie Bank’s (former) Film and Television Finance Fund, and spent several years running The Actors Factory, an acting school and theatre company. She also directed and operated performing arts not-for-profit organisations and events, including Sydney Shakespeare Festival, and venues including the Depot Theatre.

Julie holds a BA Communication Studies, an Advanced Marketing Certificate, and is currently a Student at Law with NSW LPAB/LEC. At Corporate Carbon she leads the people, compliance, engagement and admin functions of the business. Julie helps develop and oversee the continued operation and growth of the Company.
