Matthew Warnken, Managing Director of Corporate Carbon Advisory, recently presented at the Mallees, Markets and Farm Impacts conference hosted by the Oil Mallee Association (OMA) in partnership with the Future Farm Industries Cooperative Research Centre (FFICRC). Ontario Government invites Corporate Carbon Advisory to present at Climate Strides Speaker Series

Matthew Warnken, Managing Director of Corporate Carbon Advisory, recently attended a Climate Strides Speaker Series event held in Ontario, Canada.

Matthew gave a presentation on greenhouse gas mitigation activities in Australia, concentrating on the Carbon Farming Initiative (CFI) and experiences and lessons learnt by Corporate Carbon Advisory whilst engaging in the CFI process. The presentation was well attended by government officials from the Ministry of the Environment and other departmental representatives, providing further opportunities for discussion after the presentation.

Matthew Warnken, Managing Director of Corporate Carbon Advisory, was recently invited to present on a panel at the Navigating the American Carbon World conference held in San Francisco, California. The conference ran over two days and was attended by companies and organisations interested in climate change policy and carbon markets. The conference focused particularly on California’s cap-and-trade program and other state policies that support emissions reduction.

Corporate Carbon Advisory is pleased to announce the engagement of Nick James as in-house legal counsel to focus primarily on carbon regulatory issues. The formalisation of this role adds to the company’s existing services for carbon project owners, making Corporate Carbon Advisory a true one-stop carbon shop. Nick James joined Corporate Carbon Advisory in December 2011 and has worked full-time with the company as an Executive Consultant, performing a variety of carbon professional duties.

Dairy Manufacturers’ Sustainability Council invites Corporate Carbon Advisory to present at forum

The Dairy Manufacturers’ Sustainability Council today held a members’ forum on energy use in dairy processing. The dairy industry is the third largest rural industry in Australia, directly employing over fifteen thousand people. The dairy industry has a history of environmental sustainability with significant use of recycled water (26 per cent), and by recycling one-third of their solid wastes.

Corporate Carbon Advisory awarded Australian Financial Services Licence

Corporate Carbon Advisory is pleased to announce the award of their Australian Financial Services (AFS) Licence by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC). The licence authorises Corporate Carbon Advisory to provide general financial product advice to clients on carbon units, Australian carbon credit units and eligible international emissions units. The licence also allows Corporate Carbon Advisory to deal in financial products by applying for, acquiring, varying or disposing of any of the abovementioned carbon or emissions units.
