Irene Xue, Asset Management & Commerical Transactions Lead

Prior to joining Corporate Carbon, Irene worked with Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation as an Investment Manager in the private investment division with a focus on assessing and executing infrastructure investments, especially in the energy transition and digital infrastructure space. Prior to that, Irene spent several years at PSP Investments in Canada and Australia, leading farmland and timberland investments, and earlier in her career she also spent a couple years with Alberta Investment Management Corporation as a Derivatives Analyst.

Academically, Irene holds an MBA in Investment Management from McGill University (Dean’s Honor List), a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from the University of Alberta and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
