AFR names Corporate Carbon a 2025 Sustainability Leader

Corporate Carbon Group (CCG) has been recognised as a national leader in sustainability in the Australian Financial Review’s 2025 Sustainability Leaders List.

Now in its fourth year, the annual list celebrates Australian companies making real progress on sustainability and climate action across a range of industries. Corporate Carbon was selected in the Agriculture & Environment category for its innovative project work and carbon market services that help accelerate emissions reduction and unlock economic opportunities for landholders and regional communities.

The accolade recognised our innovation in delivering carbon farming at scale through an integrated, continent-wide approach. Since 2010, we’ve delivered over 15+ million tonnes of emissions reduction across more than 100 projects under the Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) Scheme. Our work brings together carbon removal, livestock operations, partnerships with Indigenous landholders, and biodiversity restoration to create real, measurable impact.

The AFR judging process assessed impact across three key pillars: environmental and societal impact, technology integration, and ecosystem development. Our commitment to innovation, transparency and long-term partnerships was a key factor in our selection.

Our General Manager Marc Train notes, “This recognition reflects years of hard work and deep collaboration with our partners, landholders and clients. It reinforces what we’ve always believed; sustainability outcomes are strongest when they’re shared.”

With policy, market and environmental conditions shifting rapidly, scalable, science-aligned carbon solutions have never been more important. We are proud to be contributing to a sector that is not just adapting to the future but actively shaping it.
